Just getting back from 2 weeks of showing in
St. Louis:
St. Louis Week 1:
Online was 7th in the Grand Prix.
Armstrong made his showing debute and was Reserve
Champion in the Baby Green Hunters.
Washington
(Left) was very successful in the 1.2 and 1.3 jumpers
with an 8th place finish in the 1.2 Classic.
Mystic Sign was 2nd in the 1.2 Classic and produced
several clear rounds in the 1.2 and 1.3 jumpers.
Dylana Z had great moments in the Pre Green Hunters
with several great ribbons.
Veni Vidi Vici stepped into the show ring after
a long break and recieved great ribbons in his classes.
St. Louis Week 2:
A rmstrong matured significantly in just a week
and won his last Baby Green Hunter class. Check
out his round on YouTube (link to come).
Dylana Z again had great moments in the Pre Green
Hunters (check out her round on YouTube also...link
to come)
Washington was ridden by Alexandra Markarian in
the 1.15 A/O jumpers. She won a class and was Reserve
Champion in the division.
Mystic Sign competed in the Welcome Stake with an
unfortunate 3 rails and returned the next day to
the 1.2 class with a double clean round and a 5th
place finish.
Veni Vidi Vici competed in the USHJA Hunter Derby
class with great success. For the first derby class
as horse & rider combination, I was very pleased
with his showing. He was incredibly brave, left
all the jumps up and was able to jump the higher
options.
Online competed in the Welcome with an unfortunate
4 faults and 2 time faults. The GP was dissapointing
with a clean round up until jump 10 where we parted
ways. What a humbling sport!!
Congratulations to Rebecca Demarco on the purchase
of her new horse Zephyr. Travel safely Zephyr we
look forward to seeing you.
Mimi Monroe is coming back to Wisconsin from her
trip to California. Welcome home! The Monroe boys
have missed you.
Leaving for St. Louis with 6 and just got
back from the Mike Heneghan clinic in Chicago. All
the young hunters are ready for their deputes.
